andy_h
You're South and you hold[hv=d=w&s=sxxhxxdat7xxcak7x]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] You're in 4th Seat. Bidding goes (P)-P-(1H)- do you overcall? You can specify the vul.

pclayton
Not close. Pass. This has 800 written all over it.
mikeh
I pass. I have some defence, and not enough offence...and the opps are far more prone to take a piece of 2minor than they are of 2Major, so even if this isn't 800, it could easily be 500 or perhaps 300 against a partial. han
I wouldn't.
Hanoi5
I might. Especially in the past. I've paid 500, 800 and 1100. So I'd recommend doing it only at favorable Vulnerability (or when no one is Vulnerable) but then again if you're REALLY aggresive, you also should be consistent. 655321
I would probably bid 2♦ at favorable, but definitely not at any other vulnerability. I don't think the hand is 'worth' a 2 level overcall, but the space a 2♦ overcall takes up is perhaps worth the risk, w/r only.

Not only that, but making space-taking overcalls of light third-seat openers is a big winner. But I would still only overcall 2♦ at favorable. Hanoi5
The responses in this thread warm my heart. What's that supposed to mean?
Lobowolf
There've been a few threads recently with fairly heavy support for action on hands where I'd favor a pass. I was just flippantly expressing that it's nice to see overwhelming support for a pass.
