kfay
As a fellow Michigan Man... I am devastated. Good thing I don't have him on my fantasy team.
mike777
No surprise though. Football is such a brutal sport. All the players end up scarred and needing a cane. They die young for so many reasons, see Walter Payton or many of the Steelers from the 70's. but the fans seem to scream for blood..... I think the average life expectancy for an NFL player is under 60 years. Tough way to make a living.

Is that true for the current players as well, or just the ones that are close to that age now? as for brady, don't feel too sorry for him... he'll be well looked after at home by GB. blackshoe
I wonder what it is if you don't count the 300+(++) pound offensive linemen. I dunno about that, but I remember reading, years ago, about a problem one team had with one of its players. Seems he was unable to get under the maximum wieght goal the team set for him. So they started fining him something like $1000 a day so long as he exceeded it. Then they did a body fat measurement - and his body fat came to about 2%. I don't know if they gave him his money back. :)
