dake50
Yup, looks as opponents guessed wrong. Would love Clubs 6313 and partner with S-A for X-3 and some Q's in the wash still. Risk -4 IMP (550-400) rare; for +2 (100-50) rare; or +5 (300-100) common; or +8 (500-150) often; even a match-swing bonanza is possible. mike777
KQJTxxxXXXXxx I pass........pard made opp guess, well done. I want to encourage partner to open nv at 4 level and not punish her.
xcurt
Dble. Even if partner has the worst-case hand, SKQJxxxxx and out, they still haven't managed 11 tricks. Clubs are locked up, hearts are more likely to be on my right (x46x can balance with double), and if they need to ruff spades I can overruff the dummy. Do not agree with the idea of not punishing partner. If we don't double the opponents when they guess wrong they can bid over our preempts with all sorts of hands with good values but maybe no clear source of tricks. These hands want to name trumps if partner fits and defend otherwise.
the hog
Pass of course. The whole point of pre empting at this level is to "help" the opponents guess wrongly. I hope they have done it on this hand.
