gwnn
You can't double with this hand, you should bid 3♦ with no agreement or 4♦ if you agreed that that is ♦+♥.
jdonn
You can't double Jilly, either 4♦ should show 5-5 diamonds and hearts or 3♠ should show 5-5 hearts and a minor (or both) by agreement. Even if not playing either of those things, either 3♦ or 3♥ is better than double. In the position you are now in there is just no answer, since you can't be in this situation. I guess I would pass but who the heck knows.

SoTired
I would take a 5D bid as a que-bid showing support for clubs, and interest in grand. You made your bed when you gambled a takeout dbl with a singleton. Now you just have to sit.
matmat
Yes many of them, and full. full of what?
P_Marlowe
Pass. If you cant sit for it, than this just means the t/o waswrong in the first place. If you dont play 2-suiter after an weak two bid (3S comes to mind), bid 3D, intending to follow up with 4H,if you dont get another chance, you wont miss game.If 4S comes back, I would bid 5D. With kind regardsMarlowe
P_Marlowe
Im mighty confused. I see I need to go back and rework all these 2 suited take outs, doubles, michaels and what not. If you say "2 suited t/o", I think you refer tohands, which allow ELC, ... make sure you have discussed this concept with partner,it is certainly ok, but you cant assume this. If you happen to play ELC, I guess 5D is natural. With kind regardsMarlowe PS: My recommendation is, forget ELC until you thinkabout yourself as adv and have formed an regularpartnership.
