I would have just assumed 2s is some game force hand with spade values without discussion in B/I. As Opener, I am never stopping short of game. Walsh ON or OFF opener is allowed to rebid 1Nt if he feel that its a better rebid than 1S. With AQ or better in the unbid minor 1Nt is often better than 1S.
