gwnn
after the auction p-1♣-p-1♥p-1♠-p-2NTp-3♥-p-3NTp-p-X-end and seeing dummy you are not quite sure what's going on. you have seen RHO do very weird stuff. [hv=d=w&v=n&n=sakj7hq53djcat974&s=sq43hkt74daq53c32]133|200|Scoring: IMP[/hv] The first three tricks go as follows: ♣6-T-J-3♦K-3-4-J♦9-A-6-♣4 Do you agree? Opps don't have many agreements. They lead 2/4 but their carding is not something you can count on.
cherdano
Can I count on their leads? I assume the club pitch was ♣5?
gwnn
Can I count on their leads? I assume the club pitch was ♣5? You can count on their leads. They lead 2nd from any small doubleton, any three cards, and 4th from every 4 card or longer suit. No, you really pitched the ♣4 from dummy. Mbodell
I'm going to play low to the Q♥ and back to the T♥, but I suspect there is something much better I'm missing. RHO might be 3-4-2-4 with all the missing points but no bid given you guys bid his suits. xxx AJxx K9 KQJ2 might want the club lead but be worried about setting up your dummy clubs now looking at the board, and might hope partner has long diamonds given the auction where you might well be 3433 from his perspective.
