Echognome
What is typical here is that you don't have an agreement with partner. I would assume that XX is an offer to play and pass it (I have a very suitable hand). However, it could be that partner is on a different wavelength and you go for 1600. It will at least make for an instant agreement and a good story. B)
cherdano
PASS! Redouble is to play, and you have unexpected Qxx of support.
pclayton
Maybe your opponents are having an expensive misunderstanding with the double. Pass!
Finch
What should I do here? Start working out the score for 2Dxx with overtricks.

Lobowolf
You've got my sympathies...I don't fine the redouble a particularly useful or descriptive bid here.
Walddk
I agree with the passers. Redouble is nonsense; pass is the only sensible bid because it shows 22-24 balanced. Then you take it out into 2♠. Roland
cherdano
North shouldn't have redoubled, of course.
jdonn
Switch the K and Q of spades, for example, and you might have made anyway! So just imagine how many overtricks you would make if partner had his redouble.

I felt like bidding ♠ but since this is not an SOS, I ruefully passed, the play was not much fun.

P_Marlowe
Hi, First of all get a gun, maybe you can buy one cheap at eBay,making an undiscussed XX is bound to create trouble, if partner critices any of your actions you do, after you killedthe board, shoot him.Second, I would pass, but ask me tommorow, and I may bid 2Sinstead. As it is, you may even survive a 3-3 fit, if partner happens to holda bal. +23 count. With kind regardsMarlowe
