jdonn
You hold T8 T8xx QJTx Qxx, both vul, early in a swiss team. Opponents bid starting on your right 1♦, 1♠2♣, 2♠4♣, 4♦5♣, you double (you could tell LHO was not happy over 4♣), 5♦, partner doubles, back to opener who redoubles. What do you lead? If 5♣X had been passed out what would you lead?

Echognome
I lead a ♥ against both contracts. I think a ♥ is the only suit I'm worried that might go away if we don't lead them (with declarer pitching on dummy's spades). I'm not so worried about declarer ruffing too many clubs in dummy (although maybe I should be?).
jtfanclub
I'm somewhat confused, of course. If partner doesn't double 5♦, then of course I'm going to (otherwise my X of 5♣ was kinda stupid). So I'm wondering maybe that's a signal for a spade lead. Otherwise (and for 5♣X) I'd lead a heart. By all means, mention if your lead would be different against 5♦X(X) if partner hadn't doubled it in front of you. This partner is a very aggressive doubler you might want to know. ulven
I lead a spade now. A heart if no X. Maybe dummy has something like KJTxxx AKJx xx x. X without trump tricks must be based on spades and empty hearts, IMO.

gnasher
If partner hadn't doubled I'd have led ♦Q. After partner's double, the arguments for a spade seem convincing.
