TylerE
Abstain. I probably would have just bid 5♦ at my first turn. Be more worried about missing slam than anything.
han
Agree with 1D, 5D now. I don't think that I can bid less when all I need to make is a 2-2-2 split. As a side question, say I wanted to cuebid, what should I bid? I think 2C is clearly natural, so it should be 2H or 2S. They both feel natural to me as well, certainly 2H does. jdonn
I'll go for 4♦ because I'm a wimp. Heck I could even see myself getting doubled off right there.
jonottawa
Auto 5♦ now, anything else is pusillanimous. And I'm not expecting a 2-2-2? split. And I'm sending it back.

pclayton
5♦ either earlier or now. How can we ever expect pard to cooperate?
effervesce
5♦ earlier or now for me too.
P_Marlowe
A diamond bid, I would go with 3D, maybe I canbuy the hand at this level, maybe not. I dont think I would have bid 5D the round before, we are strong enough, to make it likely that we can beat 4 level contract of the opponent, so why should I present them a plus score, without knowing anything about the hand? With kind regardsMarlowe
brianshark
Agree with 1♦. 5♦ now.
Guest Jlall
And I'm sending it back. LOL Sending it back is less ridiculous than bidding 4D. Did you see your hand correctly?

jdonn
OMG humble pie time, I really didnt see it correctly lol. I had no freaking idea what you meant when you said something in the other thread about the comment on the 2-2-2 break throwing me off, when actually it did throw me off... I really do change from "4♦, and XX is ridiculous" to "5♦, and redouble is bad". TYVMHAN
