han
Partner's double is penalty. It makes little sense but that's what it shows and I'd rather trust my partner than my opponents. I wouldn't have redoubled but I have no problem with it.
jtfanclub
I like the XX, especially if it tends to deny partner's suit. This auction doesn't make any sense. I suppose it's just within the realm of possibility that they have a 3-3 fit (the 1♥ bidder being 2335 or somesuch), the other possibility being that 1♥ is a psyche to keep us out of hearts. Arrgh. Any other vulnerability, I'd leave it, but then, any other vulnerability and they probably don't risk a psyche either. I guess I don't have a good answer. It would depend on the level of my partner and table feel. Gonna be hard to set this 4 tricks. If my partner had.... (kidding!) Well, we'll see what the experts say.
