Apollo81
♠K♥Axx♦AKxx♣AKQxx all red, imps (4♠)-p-(p)-X(p)-5♥-(p)-? Agreement in use about the double is "takeout doubles thru 4♠"
pclayton
If double is specifically called takeout, then its even clearer to pass. If double is 'optional' or something like that, slam is more likely to have a play.
ArtK78
Saying it is clear to pass if the double is for takeout is a little strong. Partner is unlikely to leap to slam holding xx KQJTx xxx xxx or xx KQJxxx xx xxx. And slam could be cold with a slightly weaker heart suit if hearts break. Slam could also be cold in clubs. Suppose partner bid 5♥ holding xxx KQJx xx xxxx. 5♥ could be in jeopardy, but 6♣ is cold on anything other than 4-0 clubs. This is a hard problem. And it is pretty much a guess. That is why people preempt.
rogerclee
I'd pass, but not easily.
andy_h
It's a bit tough, and it seems to boil down to how good of a suit partner's hearts are. Can't really make up my mind to pass or raise.. Given the 4S, possibly there will be bad breaks, so I guess that tips me to a pass.
helene_t
If they start with ♠A and continue spades, declarer can only finesse hearts over my RHO once. Say if RHO has Kxx or Qxxx. I think it's close.

I also thought bidding 5NT pick a slam might have some some merit in case partner has a hand like xx KQxxx xx J10xx, but I ultimately decided to pass on the hand. Partner had ♠Qx ♥KQJxx ♦xx ♣xxxx I think.
