gardnknave Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 I've successfully installed BBO on Wine under Linux, and it runs, but the fonts and cards are so big that they won't all fit on a 1280x1024 screen. In particular, the review of the bidding cover's partner's hand when partner is dummy! Not good. I've tried changing the dpi settings in the Wine configuration tool and also in the Wine registry,but this seems to have no effect on BBO (though it does make the Wine Configuration tool smaller). Gerardo Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 Yes. I'm moving to BBOFlash when possible though. Do you have the msttcorefonts installed? Clicked on the "reduced screen size" button (sorry, don't recall what it's called, the middle one, upper right) and all was well then.
