The auction was very questionable, but nonetheless, opponents passing throughout, it was 1♥-2♣-2♥-2♠-2NT-3NT. Leave me alone! Anyway, you get a strange lead of the 10 of hearts. Now what? I went for a line that made sense because of my opponents, which succeeded because of my opponents (I actually scored up 430 for a top). But, I'm curious as to what the "right" line is. Guest Jlall Posted July 12, 2008 Report Share Posted July 12, 2008 As I mentioned earlier, I think continuing hearts is much stronger than shifting to clubs. For starters we are guaranteed down 1 which is good (MP), and secondly they have a LOT of room to screw up the defense and let me make plus some legit chances.
