If it worked out well to open 1♣, or 2♣, or 6♣ on this particular hand, what conclusions are we supposed to draw that will improve our bridge in the future? I mean, I would open 2♣ and hope for the best, although I am dismayed to find that Andy Bowles, Fred Gitelman and Eric Kokish would never play with me again if I did this.
