Sitting north, LHO opens 1S, 4D pre-empt from partner, 4S on right, you bid 5D (agree?), 5S on the left, passed round to you, what's your call? If you bid 6D, it goes P-P-6S. Now what?

You're the dealer, what's your plan? You are playing weak 2s. The meaning of 4NT is undiscussed, but assumably blacky.

If you pass, partner opens 1H (4cM 12-14 NT) and rebids the 2NT if you bid 2m to show 15-16. What would your rebid be?

EDIT: first hand had Axx in clubs, not Kxx. Incase that changes things.

1) This is just a game of psychology. Will 7D go for 800+? Will you buy it for 6D? Will they make slam? etc. I would have bid 7D the first time in theory, but against bad opps I might go the 5D/6D/7D hoping to buy it at any point route. I think there are good enough chances to go for 500 in 7D to warrant going for that. The one option I would *not* choose is to defend slam at any point. I can see passing out 5S thinking 6S makes and 7D is 800+, and I can see trying to buy it in 6 then saving but I think that defending 6S is a huge view.

2) I pass and plan on bidding NT even if its at the 4 level next.
