Not sure how to put my finger on the problem. Not sure what would be an improvement. Sorry to be so unconstructive. Just seems to me that if you are doing anything other than claiming all the rest of the tricks you have to do some v carefull thinking about how many times you have to click the "Less" button (should that not be "Fewer" button?) so as not to make a mistake (especially if doing it mid-trick). Not to mention the time it takes. On balance I think I would prefer a window to pop up showing in one go all of the options (limited to possible options given tricks already taken). luis Posted March 22, 2004 Report Share Posted March 22, 2004 Maybe a better interface is to display options depending on the contract and the tricks taken so far by the defense and declarer: Example: if you are playing 3NT and the defense has 2 tricks and declarer has 7. Claim 3NT+2 (11 tricks)+1 (10 tricks)= (9 tricks)down 1 (8 tricks)down 2 (7 tricks) With Radio buttons for each option defaulted to taking all the tricks (+2) here.
