South opens a 15-17 NT and you reach 6 after stayman and blackwood.

Lead a smallish

Spades are 2-2[/hv]

I drew two rounds of trump. They were 2-2. Ruffed crossing back in and pulled the last . Both opps had three 's but RHO dropped 3 on the third diamond. I played a third round of trumps ending in dummy. RHO dropped a and LHO a reaching this:

I lead 4 from dummy and got J from RHO

What now?[/hv]

How was my play so far and what now?

Can't see any better play by you. By RHO, why play the J? He knows you have the A after Blackwood, so if his partner has the K the J is irrelevant. If he himself has the K, then playing the J is a must if he has KJT. So I would assume it is not a bluff, and duck this.

I would not double stayman with KJT.

Looks like unless righty has KJT9 he just endplayed himself for no reason, no? If he had that, he might have doubled stayman.

I win the ace and play one up.

Even if he has KJT94, he could have tossed the 9, and played the four the second time around.

I would definitely take the ace and play one up.
