jtfanclub
So if I admit I would probably lead the KH on this auction, would the drug police come and get me?
655321
♣x. Not with any great enthusiasm, but major suit leads don't look attractive, so I lead 4th best of my longest and strongest. If partner doubled 3NT? Dummy has promised the majors, and partner's double is likely to show that he has stuff in the majors. Actually, with our hand it is hard to see how partner could double. Perhaps a spade, in the hope that a double here is analogous to a double of 1NT-3NT.
ArtK78
I am going to lead a low spade with or without the double. If the ♥K is right, I should have a second chance to lead it. Clearly, minor suit leads are out, with or without the double.
kfay
Tough one. I guess I'll lead a small spade. If partner doubles I'll lead my ♥K.

I edited the OP to indicate that dummy didn't promise a major but why would dummy have promised both majors ever anyways? heh

Originally, I wrote that dummy probably did not promise a major, then I reread the auction, and thought that dummy had forced to game. Perhaps because LHO opened 1NT (OK, no excuses, I can't read a simple auction :) ) Anyway(s), I still lead a spade, for the same reason as in my first post. gnasher
I'd lead a diamond, because no one else has suggested that so far. Also, I have better pips in diamonds than in clubs, which may be useful if declarer has four of them, and my clubs are more likely to provide an entry to my diamonds than vice versa. A spade lead seems to be playing for partner to have spade length, spade strength and an entry at the right time. That sounds quite a lot. Usually when partner doubles in this sort of auction, I lead my weakest doubleton. The chance that he has good enough hearts to want one led seems small. On the other hand, the chance that he has a good enough holding in any other suit seems to be even smaller, so I suppose I'd lead a heart. mike777
I would make the most passive lead, now pls someone tell me what that is and why. edit oops I see someone just did, ok a spade for me ty.
OleBerg
♦9 if partner passes. ♥K if he doubles. With a due sense of dread.
pclayton
Low ♦. That 8 spot keeps smiling at me. If pard doubles, I wouldn't lead a diamond. Probably a low spade, since that might be the winner. A heart could hit the jackpot, but it is so committal.
kenrexford
Just to assure myself that all relevant cards are shown -- what is the highest spade card (under the Jack)?
jdonn
I lead a spade without the double, king of hearts with it. This just looks like a "the hand is breaking badly and you have nothing extra" double, which partner would only make if his long suit, very likely hearts here, has some sort of solidity to it. kenrexford
I want to lead the nine of spades. Do I have it?
Guest Jlall
I want to lead the nine of spades. Do I have it? Obviously I would have included the 9. You do have the 7 though.

Partner had KTxx QJTxx xx Tx. Other table led a spade which led to down 1. At my table I doubled and my partner led the SJ which also led to down 1 but a heart lead was down 2. A diamond lead would let it in, I think that would have been my choice without a double.
NickRW
I want to lead the nine of spades. Do I have it? I doubt it. Justin seems to regularly include such things. Low diamond for me, ♥K with the double with some trepidation - it is just possible that partner has AKxxx in spades I would have thought - though it would seem highly unlikely. Nick P.S., edit, obviously I didn't read the 2nd page before posting!
kenrexford
Well, the heart King is a decent lead, but I'm still leading the spade 9. I think Justin missed that card. LOL
djehuti
I would lead a [D] .... i think the auction suggestes a safe lead and it would be the most atractive safeste one. With a double though i would lead a major, probably, [H] K.
han
Diamond lead for me without the double, second choice spade 9.
