Ideal is a forcing 3♦, perhaps more common in the US than the UK (?). Gerben42 Posted May 25, 2008 Report Share Posted May 25, 2008 I would bid 2NT, not perfect but I have ♠ stopped at least. 3♦ will often be passed with a decent hand for 3NT and my ♦AJ suggests that partner has something on the side. I see many complete minimum that make game and partner will pass 3D. Partner will not like his hand with Kxxxxx or Qxxxxx but game will be good. So clear 2S for me.
