Will they make ? Maybe..how about an OT? ..perhaps but I doubt it. What will happen if I bid 2♦ on Kxx and PD has some cards ? What will happen if he doesn't and has only 3 card support ? I fear -2x too often to bid, but obviously if ♥ weaker I have to, or even here with my pointed suits reversed, I bid 1♠

 

Pass and and even if they are making, perhaps opener bids a 4 or 5 card suit with weakish ♥ cuz he's scared.

I dealt 60 hands vaguely consistent with the auction: opener had 11+ points and 5+ hearts, responder at most 5 points and partner had 8+ points and at least 3 cards in all other suits (not in hearts).

 

When checking manually I only selected 16 deals that seemed consistent with the auction (I also required that LHO would pass if you pass). For example, I threw out several hands where responder had a 6-card spade suit.

 

Double dummy 1H can be made twice on those 16 hands. A spade lead is the best double dummy lead by far (only 1 hand where a spade is not among the best leads).

 

Besides the two hands where 1H makes it goes down four 1 time, down three 6 times, down two 4 times and down one 3 times.

 

I pass.
