Ant590
What's the best way to play: J98xx opposite AKx for no losers (unlimited entries etc). Does the competency of RHO make any difference? This came up last night in a small slam off an ace... Thanks in advanceAnt.
Guest Jlall
For no losers or for 5 winners?
Ant590
Um, both I think. If you lose the lead they cash their ace and the slam is down, and you need 5 tricks out of it to make your 12 tricks. I was dummy so I can't remember all of the hand I'm afraid (can check when I get home).
Ant590
(the slam is 6NT, sorry)
Guest Jlall
For 5 winners: Play AK. If when you play the ace LHO drops the queen then in theory cash the king next, in practice run the 9.
