I would X. After 2H I think bidding 2S is better because

a) If partner is very weak I'd rather play 2S than 2N.

<_< If partner is not very weak it will be impossible to get to a 5-3 spade fit after 2N, but it will be possible to get back to NT over 2S. So it basically comes down to a question of "do I want to get to a 5-3 spade fit on this hand if one is available" which I think is a reasonably close question but I'd say that on average, yes, I do.

After 2S I think bidding 3D and passing a 3S bid from partner is enough. 3D doesn't show primary support, but partner will usually just bid 3S with a bad hand and do something else with a good hand. If partner doesn't have enough to make a move after a cuebid then I don't think my hand is that great.

Over 3C I would bid 3N since 3S would endplay partner with no diamond stopper.

Dbl, and then

2 --> 2

2NT (leb) --> 3

2 --> 4 (optimistic, but pard might pass with Axxx and that's probably all I need)

3 --> 3 (pard knows I'm strong and will bid 3NT with misfit, even without stopper)

etc.

silly question:

1. what I should learn from this post or better say the meanning of the post?

I ask this because I see all adv-expert answers and the poster an adv-expert too.

1. that this is a "dbl + bid suit" type of hand.

Yes and mark me down for my vote to X and then bid 2
