gwnn
you play 3NT after 1NT-3NT against very weak defenders. [hv=n=s864hat8dt92ckqj9&s=saq2hq743dk63ca43]133|200|Scoring: IMPlead: ♣8[/hv]

pclayton
1st time I ever got an error message on Suitplay (not enough memory) when I entered the heart suit. I had to upgrade it to AT8 opposite Q765. I really can't tell if my entry situation is good enough for a heart to the 8 (best chance for 3 tricks, per SP), but I think I will need the spade hook anyway, so thats what I will try. karlson
I don't really want to commit to the spade hook yet, because there are plenty of possible endplays available. Unfortunately most of them involve cashing the fourth club, and guessing what to pitch, so they're somewhat impractical. But at least we can delay it for one trick by winning in hand and then playing a heart to the 8. It may well be difficult for rho to figure out whether to shift to a spade or a diamond. If he does shift to a spade, I'll have to try the Q. It seems like we really have to try to play hearts for one loser, because if they score 2 heart tricks, they'll surely unravel 2s,2h,and 1d before we take 9 tricks, even if the spade hook is on.
