Zmudzinski played this last night on vugraph ( hand attached as LIN file )

 

What I found interesting was that he assumed (i think) that the trumps were banked offside, and that the doubler had doubled with a void. Maybe his line catered to either case.

 

Anyway, it was well done, with 4H (undoubled) going down one at the other table.

He wasn't really catering to that initially, his club was a careful play before he committed to anything. I'm sure he suspected where the trumps were though, but when the clubs showed up 7-2 it was like 100 %

When I click on your attached .lin file, I get a new tab with the .lin file text (I am guessing). I suppose I am supposed to save it locally and then open in in a .lin viewer of some sort. But, wouldn't it be easier to simply display the hand results in the post? Or, am I supposed to have some default plug-in for .lin files?

You are supposed to save the .lin file on your pc, then open it with BBO (when you launch BBO you get the option to look at a bridge movie, that's a lin file)

 

But personally I find posting lin files irritating, because I can't read them from every computer I can read BBO forums from, they don't all have the BBO software itself installed.

some browsers are supposed to have an option to let the necessary application start up and open the file.

That said, for me it sometimes works under firefox, sometimes it doesn't :/
