jtfanclub
http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080516/pl_politico/10396 "With her deep party ties, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was supposed to own the superdelegate primary. But in the last two months, it's been the rookie, Democratic rival Barack Obama, who has maximized his superdelegate moments.....Richardson's effusive endorsement drowned out the Wright story, sent a powerful signal to Hispanics and other superdelegates, and so angered Clinton supporters that consultant James Carville was reduced to calling his former friend "Judas." "It's like playing a Bridge hand," said Peter Hart, a Democratic polling expert. "You want to use your trump cards at the right time and in the right way."" Always nice to see Bridge injected into a conversation.
luke warm
i think the actual campaign is gonna be a bloodletting... i can already hear the dems with their old age jokes/ads and the reps with their wright and "typical white woman" and "white folks" soundbites
Al_U_Card
Let's think in terms of "establishment" (Bush, Clinton etc. etc.) versus the new kid on the (not bought and paid for yet) block. They will not give up the race so long as there is one voting machine left to rig or one constituent they can buy or coerce nor one media outlet that will pander to their down and dirty tactics. Hopefully, Hil(billie) will not be considered for veep as it reminds me a lot of LBJ...
