Finch
Well 3♠ for the time being is obvious, what else am I suppose to do?
Free
Well 3♠ for the time being is obvious, what else am I suppose to do? There's Dbl or 4♣... But I'd bid a simple 3♠.
kfay
Agree that 3♠ is obvious. (Have a friend who disagreed, which is one of the reasons I posted this). Trying to think of what happens now... I was playing with a bot so didn't get this bid in the room. But I think that partner bids 4♦. Fluffy
I don't find any reasonable alternatives, we can show void in clubs instead of our suits, butpartner won't know later that we have 2 places to play.
andy_h
3♠ wtp? 4♣ would be a raise in diamonds, Dbl and partner won't expect we are 6-6 (plus the follow up auctions would be way harder)
xcurt
3S. Anyone who answers "Dble" gets an incomplete since they didn't specify their opening lead.
pclayton
3♠ for now.
jdonn
Double is not a bridge bid, you don't even have a bid if partner bids 3♦ over it since 3 of a major isn't forcing. 4♣ now shows diamond support. So what else is there but 3♠? This might be an interesting bidding problem on the next round, not on this round.
