Interesting High-Level Decision

I would pass over 4NT and then double whatever they bid. It is conceivable that they will be able to sort out their best fit if I double 4NT while they won't if I pass. Since I'm doubling their contract anyway I don't see any reason to double 4NT.

Not sure on this one.

Partner preemptively opens at the three-level in a major. The next person makes a 4NT call that appears to be takeout, presumably for the minors. Does a double express an intention to penalize a five-level contract and invite partner to join the effort, or does a double express a thought of sacrificing at the five-level and invite partner to decide?

If the CW is one of these, is the CW the best idea here?

Wow you guys have really lost your minds imo, this is a trivial 5S bid. In fact, I would guess that 5S and 5 red are both making like...10% of the time and that one but not both makes like 70 % of the time or something. Partner Xed clubs, we have a big double fit, any spade finesse will probably be on, etc. Construct some reasonable hands for the table on this auction.

btw I guess if you read between the lines you will figure this out but I will just state it: to me this entails giving RHO 6-6 in the reds. If you think this is unreasonable then think about red 2 suiters you could have that you wouldn't just overcall 4H with and try to play it there. Oh yeah...you have a lot of shape :)

I agree its a clear 5S, Its possible that 5S goes if there is a stiff D but its unlikely, making 6 would not surprised that much.

I dont expect him to be 6-6 thought. With a weakish 65 or a 0553 W vs Red he probably has no hope to buy the contract at 4H so he might try 4Nt to find the best sac and to stop us from bidding slam.
