aljorge
Hi, Some time ago I made some automated import processes of the lin-files into excel in order to make rankings for some tourneys. Yesterday I discovered that it no longer works properly, it seems you have added a couple of lines which spoil the import process. Is that right? Do you plan to keep the format this way? inquiry
Lin files look the same to me.
hotShot
My impression (after a just quick look) is that some redundant information that had several optional places to be, are now more often used.
aljorge
Ok, now I had a moment to look at it: As from yesterday 23. of abril the 'Honor List' (first page in the lin-file) contains the best 12 pairs, whereas before it was only 10 pairs, and that gives obviously 2 extra lines to account for. Not cool :P
jillybean
Very cool if you are pair 11 and 12 :Pbut Im not sure I want to be in any abril honor list at all
aljorge
Any answers? Can I count on the format continuing like this? aljorge
uday
Short answer: I don't plan to make any more changes to the format, but who knows what requests I'll get? For all I know, someone will want me to highlight people in the overalls that also won their section. Whatever you are doing ( parsing the leaderboards ), there is a better way. Drop me an email -- uday@ -- and tell me why you need the data. As long as you are reasonable in your needs and your motivations, i'd be happy to give you access to the raw data in xml format or something that is more computer friendly that that lin format.
