JRG
I was watching a teaching table today and one of the players temporarily left. Someone sat without asking. ...and there were 30 kibitzers. Would it be possible to allow the host of a teaching table to reserve seats while someone else is still sitting? It's more complicated, but what would be even better is: Allow two sets of reserves for a teaching table. If a player leaves voluntarily, then put the "secondary" reserve name as the primary; if he leaves because of a disconnect of some kind, leave the reserve names unchanged. This way a teacher could seed the reserves with the next set of players that will be participating.

Thanks for a good suggestion, John, but this is not going to be able to make it into the upcoming release. The reason is that we have to drawn the line somewhere and start testing the new version. If we did not do this then we would never be able to release new versions. The line has been drawn already and we are now in the final development and testing phases. Hopefully I will be able to include something that addresses this problem in a future version... Wayne
Hi Fred As one who manages a teaching table on a regular basis this is an excellent suggestion. When I am running a teaching session I have "permission required to join" set for players. This stops someone sitting but I sometimes get an inordinate number of requests from the lobby to sit when someone unexpectedly vacates a seat. This in spite of having a table note that requests players join the table before requesting permission to sit. Anyway any that gives me a smoother way to manage players at my teaching table would be welcomed :-) TIA Wayne
