CSGibson
[hv=d=n&v=n&s=sqt7653hj83dk4ca6]133|100|Scoring: IMPP-(2♥)-P-(3♥),P-(P)-?[/hv] Again, superflights against a team that usually wins the district, do you get involved? Did you already bid previously and not have to guess now?
jdonn
Yeah I'll go for it. I am only really screwed if partner is very long in both minors, and I would consider that simply unlucky.
rogerclee
I agree with the initial pass because of the awful heart holding. Now I bid 3♠ and pray partner isn't on some kind of 1255 hand.
655321
Pass. I can certainly see that bidding could be right. Even that passing could easily lead to -140 instead of +420. But partner is a passed hand, and could still have doubled 3♥ with some of the perfectos (sp?) that make 4♠ cold. So I will wimp this hand. I wouldn't criticize the initial pass, but it is very tempting to bid my 6 card spade suit...
Mbodell
What can partner have? Somewhere between 0 and 2 hearts and he's not acting over 3♥? Either he's super weak or short in spades and has an awkward hand that can't double because of it. Neither of those are good for you. I'd pass and lead the A♣. skjaeran
3♠. We can still have 4♠, or both sides can make 3M. Even if both sides go one down, that's still only a 3 IMP loss.
