We also know that he has a "maximum," but that this "maximum" is in the context of a transfer to spades. He will not have great interest in a hand with only one of the top three spades and only two total Aces. Thus, he has at least two. There is even almost a ba-da-bing hand, where a grand makes (7♣). ♠Axxx ♥Axx ♦Ax ♣AKQx. But, that's too much. Partner would surely not open 2NT, or, if he did for some strange reason, would not bid a mere 4♠. So, you cannot make 7♠, but it seems rare that 6♠ is not playable, with asking bids doing nothing to clarify. So, I agree with Josh -- 6♠.
