I'll just bid 6, I don't want them to know whether they have 0 or 1 aces when they defend since I'm so confident partner has at least three. Things like that are underestimated IMO.

I don't see giving up. It's easy to construct lots of hands that make slam.

We know that partner has the two pointed Aces. We also know that he has a "maximum," but that this "maximum" is in the context of a transfer to spades. He will not have great interest in a hand with only one of the top three spades and only two total Aces.

Thus, he has at least two.

There is even almost a ba-da-bing hand, where a grand makes (7). Axxx Axx Ax AKQx. But, that's too much. Partner would surely not open 2NT, or, if he did for some strange reason, would not bid a mere 4.

So, you cannot make 7, but it seems rare that 6 is not playable, with asking bids doing nothing to clarify.

So, I agree with Josh -- 6.

If partner super-accepted with some garbage like AJxx KQx AQxx KQ, we will discuss super-acceptances again, over dinner.

I might discuss it over dinner, but at the table I am not going to crucify him for a lapse of judgement when I have an easy way to protect against it.

Partner held

AJx

AKx

AJ10

Axxx

4<<3NT<<6<<6NT

I though about bidding 4NT and bidding 6 only if partner held the 4 aces, I wonder if this makes sense ever.

Sorry my fault for misreading the auction. I thought you said partner super accepted :P

Oh wait I bid slam anyway. Phew. Good bid partner?
