pclayton Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 I'll go out on a limb here and defend 2N :) 1. Pard can efficiently support clubs or hearts over 2N. 2. A 'delayed' 3N sounds like a marginal diamond stopper to me. 3. Pard can rebid 3♦ over 2N very easily as well with a 5-5 in the pointed's. This will be a nice dummy. 4. My worry about 3N isn't diamonds, it's spades. I think showing the good diamond stopper now will have pard examine his spades and tell me if we should be fishing other spots.
