655321
Pass WTP. Double would be takeout, and I can't imagine bidding 5♣. So...
Free
PASS! Sometimes preempts work, but then again, so will they at the other table.
Fluffy
if the spades where at our igt 5♣might be tempting, but I don't like the overruffs. So pass.

Walddk
5♣! Partner has ... ♠ x♥ AKQ♦ xxxx♣ J109xx ... and raised to the cold slam. Then I woke up and realised that I had been dreaming. What a shame, I'd better Pass. Roland
SchTsch
The question is whether we use quick pass or slow pass in this situation? I guess slow pass should show interest in partner finding you with the lead.Quick pass should say lead what you want. So, if that is the question I would use a slow pass. mcphee
I wondered at first if this was a real question. Partner who was short in S failed to take action and here I am in balancing seat with what I see as great defence, how can I choose anything but pass, with the logical alternative being PASS. TimG
What is the temptation we are supposed to be resisting?
paulg
To be honest I didn't think it was a problem either, but both 'BBO experts' in the team match doubled so I thought I'd check with the BBF experts. Clearly I need not have bothered you all. Luckily for the doublers, their high-card points and the general randomness of a 4♠ opener meant that they were not doubled in their 5-level red suit contracts (one chose the 4-3 heart fit, the other the 6-1 diamond fit) and they only lost -400. Passers will get a comfortable +50.
jdonn
What is the temptation we are supposed to be resisting? I was going to post almost this exact same comment.
Finch
I was tempted by 5C. This could be a good red save. It could be making. I voted pass, along with everyone else.
