Hi everyone, first post here. This board came up in a club game last week (our side on defense), and being the expert defender, I managed to give up an overtrick for a bottom. It's probably not that interesting except that I botched it, spent too much time trying to analyze, and now must share the misery. Here are a couple problems...

1. Your opps lead the A, righty following with the 8, then switch to the 7. They play A from AK and UDCA. What's the best (single-dummy) plan at matchpoints?

2. Can you make eleven tricks against any lead (double-dummy)?

3. Can you make eleven tricks and save the 7 for last?

Neil
