CSGibson
[hv=d=e&v=n&s=skqjt75hat83d54c6]133|100|Scoring: IMP(P)-1♠-(4♣)-P,(P)-?[/hv] You opened light (Disagreement on that decision?), got preempted, and have to make a call now. Go quietly, or venture on? If venture on, how are you going? Edit: Double by partner would be, by agreement, negative.

Codo
I double and take 4 Diamond to 4 Heart. Maybe this shows something close enough to my hand. I know that this is an overbid, otoh if you have the shortage and you are in the pass out seat, you may have to take some more risk. But I will take the risk and hope that pd has something like xx,QJxx,Axxx, xxx and 4 Heart is too good to be missed.

Apollo81
In my experience responder will often stretch to make a negative double or 4♠ bid in this auction without 'true 4-level values' so I would pass. It doesn't look like our hand. Prepared to apologize if partner has a penalty pass.
pclayton
Have to pass. This is the kind of hand you bid when you are on tilt.
