another 8-bagger

My first post here, really just a judgment and style question, curious what everyone thinks. At IMPs, favorable, you hold Q10 KQJ10xxxx xxx

RHO bids 2 (strong artifical, forcing). 4 seems obvious, but is there a serious case for 5?

I bid 4. Around to RHO who bid 5. Do you bid 5 now?

I didn't, and LHO bid 6. RHO then bid 6NT. Is it time for 7? :)

Comment 1: I think that this is a hand where you take one bid then shut up. I don't like the idea of giving the opponents the chance to make a couple bids (Diamonds and then NT) and then give them the chance to penalty double you a level higher

Comment 2: For me, the question is whether to bid 5 or 6 over 2. I think I'd bid 5

I think what you did was reasonable, though a bit conservative. I'd prefer a direct 5 or psych (I like 2 as a psych, though here I'd choose 5). I wouldn't take two bids here in any case. At least with the 4 bid you know you aren't going for too much no matter what. Change your majors and I'd bid just 4.
