Okay, now you don't aim for a slam and for the game you need a little less. But however you see it, you need at leawst two tricks from partner. So KQx of Diamonds and out is enough, but AkQ in club is useless if he has no entry.

 

I think it was no crime to miss this game, but if I have to blame someone then your partner. It is true that he has just 6HCP and 3 card support. But he has a very useful shortness, 5 of his 6 points are very nice, so he was at least on the border to a direct 2 Spade bid.
