JanM Posted March 12, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2008 I don't know :-), but that's the match that will be on Vugraph this evening - it's now a 4 IMP difference (I didn't write the scores down because ACBL did so well with the first quarter, but I think it's 66-62 with Cayne leading. I like the current matches tonight, as they may be some teams we will not see later. For Justin's team we will able to watch him in the semis and the finals. JanM Posted March 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Well, it turned out we were limited in which matches we could show by the fact that we could only have phone lines in two of the rooms. Sorry we couldn't go with our original "show the closest match" plan. But at least you got to see Justin in action for the 4th quarter. Tomorrow we hope that all the logistics will be worked out so we can show both tables from each match for a half, unless we start badly and one of the matches we didn't have on in the afternoon is very one-sided, but at this point in the event there are unlikely to be any one-sided matches. Guest Jlall Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 (edited) lol all I could think during the last set was "these guys must think im insane" haha btw last time I was in the final 8 I lost a close match to Joe so no chance of us losing this one :) another btw for those who watched the broadcast: I did unblock the HQ when pratap was in 3N thats why he claimed 3 (he played a heart to make sure I didn't have QJT), and I don't think it was my fault on the hand they got to 5S and I played ace of hearts heart, my partner played the 6 from K96 udca. And there are def hands where a heart back is required to beat, ie AKQJxxx xx AK Ax (heart heart spade beats them), or AKQJxxxx xx AK x.
