McBruce
...cause I keep getting booted off, error 104. :D The 31K .lin file includes translations into five languages. Would be nice to be able to post it.
inquiry
Try this.... every so often, enter a }pg}}nt} "some text here" where the bracket in the above example are vertical bars like you see already immediately after the nt on the first line of the condition of contest file created, not the curly bracket I used here. This might break the condition of contest down into one page bite stuff with a working next page button. Note I haven't tried this myself but this should work. McBruce
The text to lin page does this nicely. The file opens without trouble as a bridge movie. One small problem I have found with the text to lin page is that it has trouble converting (round) (brackets). Substituting [square] [brackets] works fine. uday
There is a limit on max Coc file size ; i forget exactly what it is but it is about 30K; if the PC tries to send up more than that, the server boots the PC off the network. No plans to alter this for the moment, i'm afraid
McBruce
No big deal Uday: my writing could use a little editing! :)
etherwiz
Surely No One has More then 30k of Contest Rules ! We do not have to send the entire ACBL volumes. Please excuse a dumb question, where can I find the rules for editing a Bridge Movie File, the difference to a Bride Hands Submission for Tournaments, and a Contest Rule FIle. Even the basic editing commands would help, I tried guessing but I seam to only load one hand to a tournament at once. Tnaks to anyone who can popint me in the proper direction. _*_Dave
