joker_gib
Who plays weak 2s in 4th seat? I play it as about 10-12, never ever heard of anybody playing 2H as 8 tricks but then, I haven't met most people yet. Same here. I hate my honor dispersion but the hand fits the description otherwise. I know Meyerson opens 2♥ here. C'mon dude, STEP UP. I also play it like this and would probably open 2♥
Guest Jlall
I don't play 4th seat weak 2s as strong but I would pass this hand, my expectation on opening just seems hugely negative. We have such a crappy hand it seems like either they can make something or 2H will go set.
han
As I stated most, (in fact nearly all), the people I know would play a 2 level opening in pass out seat as at least an intermediate hand, in the range of 14-16, or about 8 playing tricks. Ah ok, I can't dispute this fact because I don't know anybody you know. Your previous statement was much bolder.
Finch
Playing weak twos in fourth, I agree that opening 2H should be the weakest action, and the evaluation is simply whether your expected score is postive from bidding or not. In earlier seats you partly open a weak two for pre-emptive effect, in fourth seat there is no-one to pre-empt, you need to go positive to open. On this hand, I would pass in a strong field and open 2H in a weak field. By the way, in one partnership I play 2H as an 'Acol 2' in fourth seat (combined with 2D a 9-13 multi) but it's a stronger hand than "14-16", something such as KxxAKQxxxAKxx would be more typical
skjaeran
I play 2♥ in 4th seat as 12-15(16). Sure I'd open some 11-counts too. This hand isn't close IMO.
