Zebu_Alex
Hi, I am trying to run BBO on my Mac. Currently I am using a program called Crossover which lets you run windows executables. Everything seems to work fine except that all the bids come out as black and red X's instead of suits. Does anyone know what the problem might be or a way to fix it? Thanks, Alex
helene_t
Hi Alex, welcome to the forum! Hope you will like it ;) Sounds as if you are missing the symbol.tff file.

SteelWheel
OK, I'm just now playing around with my new Mac and Crossover--I solved the problem that seems to bedevil everyone else (the symbol.ttf file); I have a different problem--when I run BBO under Crossover, I end up with a window that is taller than my screen. I can't resize the window, since the resizing thingie is only on the bottom right, beneath the bottom of my screen. I tried moving the dock out of the way--still can't get quite enough room. Any hints?
barmar
There is no resize thingy on the BBO window, just like when you run it under Windows. Type Ctl-w to toggle between the big and small window sizes. I haven't used BBO under CrossOver much since BBO Flash came out. There are some things you can't do with BBO Flash, but I never use those areas of the program so it's not a problem for me.
