Laird
Hello Uday on several occassions when I was writing a piece of chat after the play of a hand the score window appears amd the next thing I know I am back at my windows desk top and have to reconnect.... have you had any more such complaints or is it a peculiarity of my system... just for info. Otherwise I think the new set up is great and much more user friendly. Kind regards John

Kind regards John The problem here is that the new "log off" button in the "waiting for server response...." dialog can be activated by the space bar on the keyboard. This is fixed for the next version, but far from clear when the next version will be ready. The next version will continue support for tournaments. Uday and I are working day and night on this and we are making very good progress. Still, there is a lot of work (and testing) to do.... Hopefully we will be done within a month, but I cannot make any promises. I can promise that this facility will be excellent and I strongly suspect that it will be extremely popular and that it will draw a lot of new members to BBO. Sorry about the logging off problem. All I can suggest at this point is to try to not hit the space bar when you are typing a chat message and a deal ends! csdenmark
This is not about the problem John Laird started this thread with - but the head-line is appropriate for this. Since our chat-window no longer clears when entering a another table - and good so - I have got a problem. New opps. no longer notice a welcome/pre-alert message. How about inserting 3 blank lines when entering a new table? In that way you will still have the ability to trace your private-chat backwards but you will also be notified of chat from a new table-host. Such initial information is given to ease entry and quickly to inform of the basic-specialities(name of system, basics of system and about convention card). Yours Claus - csdenmark :)

Personally, I would prefer only ONE line be added as the space is at a premium. However, making it a horizontal line (underscores do a good job), would make it an excellent and easily visible divider.
