whereagles Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 If 2♦ is natural weak, is recommended that you play this dbl as PENALTIES, in order to avoid psyches from responder with a diamond fit. Personally, I've done a few of those psyches myself and opps usually had a lot of trouble finding their spade fit. When 2♦ is multi, take-out (of spades) is more appropriate. The easiest way to remember this is to play 2♦-Pass-anything-?? the same as anything-??. So, play 2♦-Pass-2♠-Dbl the same as you would play 2♠ (wk two)-Dbl.
