Winstonm
Pass. WTP?
helene_t
This one is easier playing with Ron or Richard who would have preempted with a 6-5. Anyway, I pass,
Cascade
There is law against partner having clubs nor against 3♥ playing ok. I bid 3♣ and correct 3♦ to 3♥.
jdonn
Pass. WTP? Ditto. I'm not saying it has to be right but it really seems clear what has the best odds. Even if it's a 50-50 guess whether spades plays best or not, the tiebreaker is that it's a level lower.
whereagles
Pass too. Has a chance to make if pard has a few top cards and can ruff some diamonds. Then at some stage opener will have to break spades.

Fluffy
[hv=n=shkq87xdkj97xxcxx&w=s7hj10xdq108xxck10xx&e=sakj9xhaxxdxcaqxx&s=sq1086xxxh9xdacjxx]399|300|[/hv] Nothing you play willscore less than -300, but if you can keep yourself undoubled, you can score up to 37% on this deal. I though passing 2♠ was too likelly to be doubled and bid 3♣ending in 3♥ wich nobody felt confident enough to double, althou the opposition wasn't really great. I think best of all was to bid a confident 3♥ directly.

jdonn
I think the real trick is to not give rho another chance to double us.

Codo
Besides trying for the right disaster, I would tell my pd that his bid was sick.He knew from the bidding that I should have 5+ spades and still wants to play 3 in a suit? Sorry, this is silly.
