ccw
Playing pretty basic precision the auction begins: 1C (P) 1D (1S) 1C=> 16+ unbalanced or 17+ balanced1D=> 7 or fewer HCP (also does not have 6 of a major with 4-6 HCP). Are there standard agreements with how to deal with the 1Sinterference. We have practiced dealing with direct seat interference but this onecaught us off guard. (only played precision for 4 sessions thus far). Thanks Collins Collins.Williams@alumni.duke.edu
Apollo81
Dbl = takeout1N = 17-20- w/ stopper2cdh = NF, 5+, something like 16-19 HCPDbl and pull = stronger than direct action, not sure whether "foricng" or "NF" is std for suit bids, I would probably play as semiforcing if undiscussed(can pass with a hopeless hand like xxx xxx xxx xxxx)jumps = forcing, 6+ in suit
helene_t
Pass: minimim, not suited for any bid, with 5-card in their suit could be quite strong (trap pass)dbl: take-out, including very strong and somewhat flexible hands1N: 19-21 bal2♣/♦/♥: non-forcing, but either extra values and/or a 6-card2♠: presumably Michaels if you play that in other situations.2N: I think this should be unusual since a natural 2N hand can start with a double, but not sure.3♣/♦/♥: 1-suited strong hand, not sure if this should be forcing.
