What is the best way to work on timing of a hand while playing a contract, all to often I play the right suit at the wrong time ( that is not claiming that the other times I get it right either ). how can I improve this aspect of my game

Read up on this subject - try Kelsey's "Test your timing".

And play a lot of hands.

Test your Timing is GREAT. I wish there were more books of this genre.

Play, play and play. Practice is everything. Look at your mistakes, remember them and don't repeat them.

Test Your Timing is currently unavailable on my website. When I do have it, used, I typically sell it for $6.00 -- as opposed to the total lunacy you see here:
