tritri
I have a problem: many times a players without to say to me anything, they take and put me in a Match Team, this to me does not go well, but above all it does not go well when I am directing a tourney, and I cannot exit from the Match Team. I diconnect myself, but when I return on BBO, I am meeting again in the Matchm Team and it is useless that I get angry, if is not found someone that plays to my place I cannot return to direct. Can be made something so that make to see when a TD is directing? Thanks to Fred, Uday and Sheri for allhttp://forums.bridgebase.com/style_images/1/icon12.gif Elena (sorry for the my bad english, I hope that you understand..) spwdo
hi elena, u 100% right, this is not funny thing , maybe bbo coud add something so td who setup team matches has to send invites to players willing to play so they can confirm thier registration , not nice when someone pulls you in somewhere u didnt ask for ♥ marc
blackbikin
:( hi all, it happened to me three times in last week.at he beggining of tourney , with over 300people i was in team match.who can stop this¿ lovebarbara
ehhh
This has also happened to me. I was sucked into a team match where the TD had set the number of bds. to an unreasonable 99. The match eventually was cancelled but it was to late to salvage my tournament and I ended up having to cancel it but not before making lengthy apologies. I wrote a letter to Uday and listed all names in the team match. Uday was most supportive and took disciplinary measures. It goes without saying I listed the TD as an enemy. The moral of this story is document and follow up the documentation to abuse@bridgebase.com
tritri
I see that all we have had the same experience :) I find the solution given from Marc is optimal :) Thanks to all http://forums.bridgebase.com/doc/images/heart.png
Trpltrbl
I think Marc is on right track with having to be invited to play in Match. Or maybe people should be just nice enough to make sure everybody that plays in match has agreed to play. Mike :D
slothy
Well Elena the best strategy is to declare the hand and play it soo bad the chances are your p will sub you himself (i say HE because i can only imagine a man doing that...[a woman would ask oyu first and invite you even if you said no ;)] ) PS your English is very good; and even if it wasnt your accent is so cute... Trpltrbl
That is a nice feature. I just hope people not going to missuse it when they are losing a match. Mike ;)

Is this for those team matches when the Team Creator, self-appointed TD as it were, himself may be playing and thus no way of controolingmatch? JRG
I believe it is simply a new player option: Click on the "Director Call" button as a player and Uday has added an additional option to the ones that used to be there. This is the "Withdraw from match" option.

JRG
yes john have to say a lot of people dont like it when others withdraw prematurely... I agree with what you say; however, if you did not agree to play in a match and some <deleted> person kidnapped you, I think you have every right to opt out. This function allows you to do that.
