Guest Jlall
1) pass, partner can be quite light given his void in hearts and my hand loses significant value given his void in hearts. Still may have a game but pass really feels percentage. 2) club seems too obvious so it must not work heh. 3) I would run the jack of hearts. Their best D will be to lead back a heart but that might be tough to diagnose. If they do find that I still have good chances. If lho gave count showing 3 hearts Ill lead another high heart. If RHO ruffs I can claim so RHO must pitch. I would shake a club as well. Then I would lead a diamond and try and ruff a diamond in dummy. If LHO gives count showing 2 hearts I have to play for trumps to split.

pclayton
1. Partner had ♠Q9xxxx ♥-- ♦A9xx ♣Kxx. On the previous board, we had nailed RHO for 500 against nothing on a good ead and defense (#2 below) and I felt he was feeling the pressure a little. I tried 3N and got the heart lead. I won and played a spade. RHO won and I don't think I can go down at this point. He continued a heart, I won, played a 2nd spade. He tried a 3rd round. LHO ducked the ♣A so I made 11 tricks. 2. I tracked a spade. Dummy had ♠Jx ♥x ♦J9xxx ♣109xxx. Declarer had ♠AKQxxx ♥Qxx ♦x ♣AJx. We were soon +500. I suppose we get a club ruff for the same result if I lead a club. 3. This was from the semis. Personally, I expect a little more for a 2♥ call (don't you?). Like Justin, I led the ♥J at T3. RHO can beat it with a heart back (LHO did have ♠Jxx) but shifted to a club. +650.
han
Same answers for me. Not leading a club on 2 seems pretty deep.
jdonn
1. I would bid 2NT, although clearly pass is right opposite certain partners. Don't see why we can't have a game here. I don't know where I would have ended up on the actual hand, probably not in game anyway. 2. Club wtp? 3. Too lazy.
pclayton
I should mention on the 1st that the 1♥ opening on your right was Precision if it matters.
