kenrexford
montreal sux Really?!? I loved Montreal when I went.
mikeh
montreal sux Montreal is my favourite North American city to visit, if we limit visits to the summertime. It is warm, it stays warm almost all night (well, as late as I have stayed up), it has civilized drinking laws (the bars are open far longer than where I live), the restaurants are phenomenal, the live entertainment is varied, etc. And there is a cultural mix unlike that in most other Canadian (or US, on my limited experience) cities. Now, that refers to the main part of Montreal: too often the CNTC, which is when I go to Montreal, is held in some sterile hotel stuck on the outskirts of town, next to a freeway, with no public transit, no nightlife, no restaurants.... and that sux :o
