whereagles Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 The only good excuse I can find for bidding 2NT is pard will rebid 3♣ on his 5116 and we might end up in a fit better than diamonds... other than that 2NT seems overly optimistic. Pard had 6142 shape with the dK and some other irrelevant cards and will pull NT to diamonds. If you had bid 2N you have an easy 3h over pard's 3d then 5d over pard's 4d.
